Paws in Motion At AVREC

Paws in Motion at AVREC offers two rehabilitation certified doctors as well as three certified technicians for rehabilitation at AVREC. Each member of our rehab team received their training and certification (CCRP) through the University of Tennessee’s Certified Canine Rehabilitation Program.

Rehab is commonly performed after surgery for patients recovering from fractures, tendon and ligament repairs, as well as neurologic cases. Depending on your pet’s condition, rehabilitation may be used to improve the range of motion of joints, strengthen muscles, increase flexibility and to reduce pain and swelling. Rehabilitation can also assist with weight-loss in pets that are either unable or unwilling to exercise by themselves.
